剧院 is “Equipment for Living.” That’s the philosophy behind the 密歇根州立大学丹佛 剧院 program.

A bachelor of arts degree in 剧院 will not only prepare you to tell powerful, 变革的故事, it will also impart the ability to work in teams, 巧妙地沟通, plan large projects and think analytically — skills employers crave.

密歇根州立大学丹佛’s 剧院 program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of 剧院. The program will not only prepare you for further graduate studies, but also will provide the training necessary for careers in voice, film and theatre and other media. Many 剧院 majors also translate their 剧院 degrees into careers such as teaching, 销售, 法律, 业务, 通讯及其他.

Work and perform in the King Center performing arts complex, one of the most accessible and adaptive performance facilities in the nation.

The 密歇根州立大学丹佛 campus is also situated walking distance from the city’s many cultural and entertainment attractions such as the 丹佛 Center for the Performing Arts Complex, 丹佛 Art Museum and the History Colorado Center.

密歇根州立大学丹佛’s 剧院 program also offers membership in the Stage Combat Club, 戏剧技术俱乐部, Rowdy Town — an improvisational theatre group and the Alpha Gamma Beta chapter of the Alpha Psi Omega National 剧院 Honor Society.

剧院 skills translate to many different careers in addition to those in the entertainment industry. Some of our graduates have gone on to work in fields such as hospitality management, 信息技术, 摄影, education as well as having become working actors, 董事, theatre administrators and technicians.

The 戏剧系 at 密歇根州立大学丹佛 is accredited by the National Association of Schools of 剧院, the national accrediting agency for theatre and theatre-related disciplines. Only two universities in Colorado have this distinction.
